West Palm Beach’s Murdering Postmistress:
Lena Clarke
Lena Clarke was many things – writer, poet, composer, postmistress – and murderer. This sordid tale of twisted love, the occult, grand theft and murder takes place during the 1920s West Palm Beach boom. The crime and trial made national headlines. This presentation will bring this amazing tale to life through photos, headlines, and Lena’s own words.
