This sordid tale of twisted love, the occult, grand theft and murder takes place during the 1920s West Palm Beach boom. The crime and trial made national headlines. This presentation will bring this amazing tale to life through photos, headlines, and Lena’s own words. 

Historian Ginger Pedersen is the co-author of three books on South Florida history, Pioneering Palm Beach: The Deweys and the South Florida Frontier and Legendary Locals of West Palm Beach, and co-editor of Pandemic in Paradise: Florida Stories from the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic.
