Staff will evaluate your request with a preliminary search of the Archives and advise you what, if anything, has been found on your subject of interest. If there is an abundance of material on hand, you may be asked to make a research appointment to review what is available in the Reading Room.

Research appointments are usually made for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. We cannot accommodate walk-in requests. If more than one person will be in the research party, please advise us in advance so proper space may be allocated in the Reading Room. Please note that the Reading Room is closed to research from July 1 through Labor Day each year during installation of the annual special exhibit.
