The Historical Society of Palm Beach County is pro The Historical Society of Palm Beach County is proud to partner with The Royal and Compass Community Center to produce "A Place for Pride," a photographic timeline celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and their many contributions to our history.

The Royal Poinciana Plaza will present “A Place for Pride,” a self-guided photo retrospective exploring the moments and milestones that have shaped LGBTQ+ life in our country and community.

“A Place for Pride” is free and open to the public from June 25 through July 15 during The Royal’s operating hours (Mon-Sat 10-6, Sun 11-5).

The exhibition will be installed in the plaza’s north and south breezeways nearest the shops Zimmermann and Lingua Franca. Visitors will have the opportunity to take in “A Place for Pride” at their leisure between shopping, dining, or strolling at the island’s beloved destination.
