In celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month 2024, the Johnson History Museum presents two exhibitions.

A Place for Pride explores Palm Beach County’s progress toward equality. Curated in conjunction with the Royal Poinciana Plaza and Compass Community Center, this photo retrospective charts the events that shaped this community both locally and nationally.

The exhibit 50 Years: The Stonewall Uprising, from The Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library,  examines the events leading up to, during, and after the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, which is often cited as the catalytic shift in the movement for equal rights for all.
