Archival Internship Program
The Historical Society of Palm Beach County offers future archivists and museum professionals the opportunity to gain firsthand experience with collections and exhibitions. The Society is looking for graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in degree-seeking programs in Public History, Library and Information Science, Museum Studies, Anthropology, or Historic Preservation to participate in our internship program.
Interns will gain practical experience in archival preservation and develop hands-on skills in handling, storing, and maintaining historical materials. The program offers opportunities to learn archival cataloging and metadata standards, as well as techniques in digital archiving and digital collections management.
Internship opportunities are offered during the spring, summer, and fall semesters. Please submit the required materials during the application period.
