Famous Firsts recognizes the first Black female Attorneys in the Palm Beach County legal community. Representing a wide range of professional positions that have been traditionally male dominated, these women faced gender and racial barriers and overcame them.
Meet the first Black female attorney to practice law in Palm Beach County, founders of the first Black Women Lawyers Association, and impressive attorneys and judges who are recognized as all being the first.

The Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum
Admission is FREE to the public. The museum is located on the 2nd floor of the restored 1916 Courthouse at 300 North Dixie Highway, in downtown West Palm Beach.
