Docent Training Class

If you love history, impacting children’s lives, and engaging with the public, WE NEED YOU!

Volunteer with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and our Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum! The museum has ongoing volunteer opportunities in the museum as Docent, Museum Store Assistant, or Greeter, and at Special Events and in the Archives. If Docent is your dream, register for our next nine-week Docent Training Course. This in-depth training covers Palm Beach County history from 12,000 years ago to today. Through lectures, presentations, self-study, practice tours, observations, and evaluations, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead tours in our museum. Let your appreciation for local history come alive at the HSPBC.
